China Day 15: Earthquake Weather

June 14, 2008

I just found the greatest set of emergency instructions for what to do in an earthquake on the desk in our hotel room. Some of the points include:

1. When the house shakes, you should not move around. Firstly you should find a solid table with low gravity center, hide yourself under the table and hold the table legs firmly. If it is nowhere to hide, you'd better stay in the wall corner and use cushion to protect your head.

2. When the earthquake comes, people's mentality is apt to be fluctuant. Please take proper and calm actions according to safety guiding pictures behind the door.

3. Take good care of your head when you escape to outdoor.

This is actually not bad advice!
